Prescribed Burn and Natural Area Maintenance Services

The project includes, but is not limited to, the following: A. Proper implementation of a Prescribed Burn to provide ecological management and control of invasive brush at each designated location in accordance with Specifications and Illinois State mandated EPA regulations and multi-jurisdictional community code. B. Perform essential maintenance of District owned Rain Gardens, mechanically and chemically remove woody and herbaceous invasive plants with the intent to improve the health, working conditions and appearance if each area. Prescribed Burn and Natural Area Maintenance Services at the following sites: Site 1. Fidler Farm, (Savannah Subdivision), 2921 Savannah Aurora Site 2. Hawks’ Bluff Park, 950 Twin Elms Lane Site 3. South Millcreek Park, 39W474 Main street Geneva Site 4. Prairie Path Park, 813 Mark Twain Trail Site 5. Prairie and Lathem Park, 601 Lathem Street Site 6. Payne Woods Park, 2020 Gillanwater Drive Site 7. Laurelwood Park, 800 North River Street. Site 8. Engstrom Family Park, 2 Raingarden areas, 326 Millview Dr. Site 9. West Main Community Park, Raingarden area, 40W401 West Main St. Site 10. Memorial Park, Raingarden area, 601 Illinois Ave. Site 11. Bigwoods Park, Detention Pond Natural Area. 1063 S. Raddant Rd. Sites 1 thru 7 - prescribed burns. Sites 8 thru 11 - improvement through manually, mechanically, and/or chemically removing herbaceous invasive plants. This contract shall cover the period of time from February, 2021 until Dec 2021.
