Description

Contractors, for the modifications to the Tract 27 Booster Station located in the Tamarac Sports Complex at 9901 NW 77th Street. The work includes all labor, materials, equipment, engineering and obtaining all applicable permits, licenses, insurance and supervision necessary to complete the project as specified herein. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to the following items: 1. Removal and replacement of existing standby diesel generator system. 2. Removal and replacement of existing horizontal split case high service pumps. 3. Removal and replacement of the existing motor control center with new VFD`s to operate the pumping systems. 4. Installation of a new HVAC system. 5. Installation of a new FPL power service and primary power distribution system for the facility; including stepdown transformer, main breaker, automatic transfer switch and lighting panel for lights, convenience outlets, and similar items. 6. Modifications to the control system, RTU, and SCADA systems for compatibility of operation with the proposed VFD`s. 7. Replacement of piping and valves for the new horizontal split case pump(s). 8. Removal of existing glass storefront and replace with reinforced masonry wall. 9. Removal and replacement of pump room overhead maintenance access door with new door meeting current Building Code. Installation of new overhead maintenance access door for the generator room. 10. Removal and replacement of exterior doors and windows with new hurricane resistant doors and windows in accordance with current building codes. 11. Painting of the interior and exterior of the entire booster station facility including equipment and piping. 12. Painting of the exterior of the existing chlorine building. 13. Removal of all exhaust fans from pump room. 14. Block up all intake ventilation openings of the pump room.
