Floyd Avenue Over Mohawk River Bridge Deck and Bearing Rehabilitation

Project provides for the replacement of the existing deck and bearings on the bridge carrying Floyd Avenue over Mohawk River in the City of Rome, Oneida County, New York. The work breakdown is as follows: 1.On-site maintenance and protection of traffic during construction 2.Survey and layout of items in Contract 3.Deck and bridge rail removal and disposal 4.Jacking and removal of existing bearings 5.Pedestal replacement for new bearings 6.Install bearings 7.Cleaning steel girders and diaphragms 8.Install new deck, concrete parapet, sidewalk, and guide rail 9.Install approaches and sleeper slabs 10.Restore traffic to normal operating patterns
