Description | The proposal consists of the protection of approximately 210 feet ofstreambank along the left bank of the Lower Chehalis River. The Work includes temporary erosion and sediment controls: development, maintenance, and decommissioning of a staging area; limited grading; constructing timber piling; construction and placement of engineered wood structures, including toe logs, brush bundles, and brush mattresses, above and below Ordinary High Water; erosion and sediment control; traffic control; property restoration; and other work. Contractor will provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the work as specified. Award will take into consideration the lowest total price to provide the services specified along with qualifications and experience ofthe bidder and the Port's budget capability All bid proposals shall be accompanied by deposit in cash, certified check., cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful Bidder fail to enter into a contract and furnish a satisfactory performance bond, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited. In accordance with RCW 42.56.100 and Port of Grays Harbor Resolution 2973, the Port makes the following rule: Public Bid Guidelines require that the Port of Grays Harbor maintain the integrity of official bid documents sets, provide swift response when incorporating addenda changes, and communicate in a singular, fair, and equitable manner to registered bidders. This process would interfere with the Port's obligations to maintain the integrity of the bid records if the Port were required to relinquish control over the bid documents during the bidding period. |
