Hodgson Road Lift Station Rehabilitation

Scope of Work: Hodgson Lift Station: Convert Submersible Pump Lift Station to Self-Priming Pump Lift Station as follows: 1. Removal of all existing submersible pumps, piping, guide rails, controls, hatches, conduits, and wiring. 2. Furnish and install two (2) new Self Priming Pumps, including all frames, motors, anchors, and connections to proposed piping. 3. Furnish and install new suction and discharge pipe, including all fittings, pipe supports, connections, gate valves, check valves, and painting. 4. Modify existing lift station structure by modifying top slab for grate supports and grating, abandonment of valve box, and installation of fill material and pump support slab. 5. Provide for cleaning and surface preparation of existing wet well interior coating including removal of accumulated solids and disposal. Install 2 coats of Coal Tar Epoxy coating over existing interior coating. 6. Provide for bypass pump connections, and maintenance of bypass pump operations during construction. Contractor will be allowed use of City Furnished BYPASS PUMPS. Contractor shall be responsible for relocation and reconnecting pumps, piping, and electrical for all proposed work. Contractor shall be responsible for maintaining flows at all times. 7. Contractor to provide temporary construction fence as required to secure the site. 8. Provide Site Improvements to replace existing chainlink fence and gates, final site grading, and seeding of all disturbed areas. 9. Furnish and Install all electrical improvements, including all control panels, conduits, wiring, connections to existing electrical service, proposed equipment, and SCADA. Viterbo Lift Station: 1. Remove and replace existing 24” culvert pipe with proposed 24” HDPE culvert. Provide connections to existing RCP storm sewer pipe. 2. Contractor to clean and provide epoxy injection inside valve box at pipe penetrations to seal groundwater.
