Description | The City of Monroe (City) is requesting that interested and qualified firms submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) to provide professional engineering and Right-of-Way (ROW) services for sidewalk improvements along 179th Avenue Property acquisition will need to be negotiated with two residential ownership interests, in addition to securing Temporary Construction Easements (TCE) for up to six residential parcels. The Consultant Agreement is expected to be awarded in January 2022 and will be for approximately 12 months in duration. The City reserves the right to supplement the contract to include construction management, inspection, material testing, or Project Management Review (PMR) assistance. If desired, the scope, fee, and contract time extension for these services will be negotiated at a later date.The project has received federal grant assistance for the design and construction phases. Local funds will be used for ROW services. Compliance with Federal requirements and adherence to the WSDOT LAG Manual must be observed for all phases of this project. The design and ROW phase have a 0% DBE goal.
