2022 Resurfacing of City Streets

**As of Aug 5, 2022, project was awarded to Hopkins Paving awarded amount is $444,673.50 ** The project may include the grinding or full depth reclamation of existing road surface, furnishing and placement of hot bituminous concrete shims and overlays on existing City streets, parking areas and walkways. Total tonnage is estimated to be 3800 tons and total areas to be ground or reclaimed are estimated to be 31,450 square yards. The paving and/or grinding of said City streets shall not commence until such time as the Contractor receives a notice to proceed from the City Engineer or his designee. All paving must be completed by November 11, 2022. The City of Brewer, Maine holds the exclusive right to reject or accept all or part of any or all bids received.
