Architecture, Planning and Engineering Services

The City of Conneaut is requesting statements of qualifications from interested consultants to provide a range of services related to the administration and implementation of Conneauts Community Development Program as well as qualified consultants to provide Engineering, Architectural and Planning services for various State, Federal and Local programs as well as Municipal Engineer Services and General Architecture/Engineering/Planning. The City is interested in obtaining the following services: 1. Provide technical assistance; under direction of the City; to assist in implementing and administering all State and Federal Grant program activities; preparation of applications, environmental reviews, determination of eligible activities; coordination with various groups and organizations, including HUD, U.S Dept. of Commerce, Federal Highway Administration, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Ohio Development Services Agency, Ohio Dept. of Transportation, Ohio Dept. of Natural Resources, Ohio Environmental Protection Agency; United States Department of Agriculture, familiarity with EEO, Davis-Bacon, and requirements and regulations; provide on-site day-to-day technical assistance; etc. 2. Have in-house capabilities to provide architectural and planning services for Ohio Department of Natural Resource funded projects; and/or including development for NPSIS Planning and other environmental planning services. 3. Have expertise in the area of economic development including such programs as USDA, ODOT Jobs and Commerce, 629, RLF, SBA 504 and CDBG operations; including the ability to assist the City in deal structuring using a variety of funding tools. 4. Familiarity ODOT Small City and Municipal Bridge Programs. ODOT Prequalification for design services required. 5. Have expertise in the area of the various housing programs, CHIP, CHIS, etc. Familiarity with the Americans with Disabilities Act. 6. Expertise in the area of Federal Channel Dredge Programming and Beneficial Reuse of Dredge Material 7. Municipal Engineer Services. 8. General Architecture, Planning and Engineering Services.
