Site work and paving for a civil project in Belton, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project. A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid [for those contracts that exceed $100,000]. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Belton, Texas or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. The City of Belton, Texas reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids are invited for several items and quantities of work (but not limited to) as follows: 1. 14.5 Stations of Right-of-Way Preparation. 2. Trench & Traffic Safety Measures. 3. 1,426 feet of 8-inch C-900 Water Pipe 4. 5 Fire Hydrants with Gate Valves. 5. 30 Water Pipe Appurtenances and Fittings. 6. Water Services. 7. 5,200 Square Yards of Milling and 2-inch HMAC Overlay. Work shall be fully completed within 100 working days thereafter.
