Description | Electric Sectional Door Remove existing sectional overhead door. Provide 24-gauge, 2" thick insulated sectional garage door, approximately 7' high by 8' wide. Basis of design, Overhead Door Model 432, with vision panels [or approved equal]. Provide with low-ceiling track and electric motor operation. Provide with manual override. Control shall be by push-button provided by others. All electrical work shall be in accordance with the building code and be installed in conduit. Door, Frame and Hardware Remove existing hollow metal door and frame. Provide 34" wide by 80" high 16-gauge insulated galvanized hollow metal door and 2", 14-gauge galvanized hollow metal frame with dimple anchors. Provide continuous geared hinge, door closer, rim exit device (exit only), kickplate and weatherstripping. All hardware products of AssaAbloy [or approved equal]. Gate Arm, Control Provide cantilevered post-mounted request to exit push-button control. Button shall simultaneously control overhead sectional door and gate arm. Gate arm shall be Doorking 1601 with pedestrian/car protection system [or approved equal]. Provide folding arm for low ceiling application. Barrier arm shall fail open. All electrical work shall be in accordance with the building code and be installed in conduit. Traffic Light Provide traffic light outside building, attached to the top of the existing ramp wall, and visible from the street. Traffic light shall be connected to the control system so that once a request to exit is activated, the light turns red, and remains red until the overhead door is closed. All electrical work shall be in accordance with the building code and be installed in conduit. Access Control Provide card access control mounted on ramp wall. Control shall activate overhead door. All electrical work shall be in accordance with the building code and be installed in conduit. Mirror and Post Provide 24" diameter post-mounted concave mirror opposite the ramp. Bottom of mirror to be at 7'-6" above the sidewalk Selective Demolition Work as required. New lights Remove all existing fluorescent lights. Replace with similar surface-mounted linear style LED light fixture. Each fixture shall have sufficient lumen output to achieve at least 5.0 foot-candles of light across the entire garage floor. 50% of these new light fixtures, every other fixture, shall be provided with integral battery packs to provide emergency egress lighting in the event of a power failure. Illumination from these emergency fixtures shall provide a minimum of 1.0 foot-candles of light across the entire garage floor. Exit Signs Install two new illumined “EXIT” signs above both passage doors Power for door/gate Provide power for gate control system and overhead door from existing first floor electrical distribution panel. |
