Description

Construction of the Orange City Main Water Plant Greensand Filter (DW64204) The City of Orange City is accepting sealed proposals from qualified Contractors for B140-0-2021; Construction of the Green Sand Filter, Main Water Plant for DW642051. The City of Orange City, Florida is accepting sealed bids to competitively select a qualified licensed CONTRACTOR to provide construction services associated with ITB B177-0-2022/DRS as specified by the Technical Manual and Construction Plans associated with this project. This is a grant-funded project utilizing State Revolving Funds (SRF) obligated through the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) and subject to audit under all Federal, State and City requirements that apply. This project involves the construction of City of Orange City Main Water Plant Green Sand Filter (DW64204). Scope includes but is not limited to: Materials, labor, installation, assembly, start-up, start-up supplies and incidentals for the for construction of a complete working system including but not limited to: Addition of a Green Sand Filtration System (equipment pre-purchased by the City), including integration to existing Main Water Plant infrastructure; Permanganate Contact Chamber; Reclaimed storage tank (pre-purchased by the City and installed by the tank vendor); Piping and supports, Building and foundation, Equipment pads, Shelters, Site work, Electrical, Instrumentation, SCADA communications; Chemical Analyzers; Chemical Injection System ,Chemical Storage Room/Tanks; and Hydraulic Pumps. All questions must be submitted in writing and directed to David Santiago, CPPB, NIGP-CPP, Purchasin and Contract Administrator at dsantiago@orangecityfl.gov Bidders who arrive after the sign-in sheet has been transmitted will not be allowed to submit a bid. The City reserves the right to add an additional mandatory pre-bid if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the City. This project is a Federally-Assisted Construction Project, requiring the Contractor to abide by Davis-Bacon prevailing wage requirements. Weekly certified payrolls and statements of compliance from the Contractor and all Subcontractors will be required throughout construction. This is a grant funded project utilizing State Revolving Funds (SRF) obligated through the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP), and prevailng wages, and is subject to audit under all Federal, State, and City requirements that apply and shall apply to any subsequent contract(s) issued. An additional Mandatory Pre-bid has been scheduled for Friday, October 21, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. You are ONLY required to attend one of the meetings. If you attended the first Mandatory Pre-Bid on 10/14/22, you are NOT required to attend the second pre-bid.
