| Description | Re-shingling the roof on New Prospect Elementary School’s Old Gym and the roof on the District’s Maintenance Building (Cannery) 1. Remove all existing layers of shingles to expose the deck surface. 2. Replace damaged decking if needed. Vendor should include costs per 4x8 sheet of OSB and costs per 1x6 board on their quote. Vendor should include cost per 100 LF of fascia board replacement. 3. Apply synthetic felt underlayment to deck, ice and water shield in valleys, around pipes and chimneys. 4. Re-roof with limited lifetime warranty architectural shingles. 5. Reseal all flashings. 6. Install new shingle-over style ridge vent. a. New Prospect Elementary Old Gym - Remove 2 brick chimneys and install new OSB over chimney holes. b. Cannery/Maintenance Building - Remove 7 circular metal vents and install new OSB over vent holes. 7. Replace all pipe flashings, paint pipes and install collars. 8. Dispose of all waste properly. 9. Magnetize area of nails. |
