Description | Site Work: The site is approximately 5.86 acres and has medium/heavy existing vegetation. Site clearing and infrastructure improvements are required in order to add the new buildings and required site amenities. The completed project will require surface parking for approximately 23 employee vehicles, plus an estimated 16 service delivery vehicles and 10 visitors. A loading dock is required to support a new Chemical Storage Building with adequate truck access/circulation. Additional improvements will include equipment storage yards, dedicated landscape and storm water management areas, and other incidentals providing program support and site security. Office/Lab Building: 4,000 s.f. of office and 2,000 s.f. of “light” lab space is required, for a total building size of approximately 6,000 s.f... The exterior of the building is assumed to be constructed of traditional reinforced CMU with painted stucco finish and a flat built up SBS roof. The building will include impact rated doors and windows. The interior of the building will include heavy duty storage, freezers/coolers and non-built in furniture which are to be provided by the County as part of Fixtures, Furniture and Equipment (FF&E) package. The building program requires that this building be on emergency generator. Workshop/Equipment Storage/Chemical Storage Building(s): A 1,800 s.f. Workshop, 3,000 s.f. Indoor Equipment Storage, and a 6,200 s.f. Chemical Storage area is required as part of the project program, along with an attached ground level covered parking Garage for vehicles and equipment. These buildings will most likely be constructed as separate buildings due to project phasing. It is assumed that the +/-11,000 s.f. Workshop/Equipment Storage/Chemical Storage Building will be a metal building structure with an interior height of (30) thirty feet to allow for vertical chemical storage and forklift maneuverability. The building is to have a loading dock area with dock leveler, overhead coiling door and an enclosed chain link area for secure storage. Fuel Island: A vehicle fuel island is part of the project 1. Covered aluminum canopy fueling island 2. 4 fuel dispensers 3. +/-100 s.f. reinforced CMU/painted stucco kiosk bldg. for electrical/low voltage equipment storage 4. 20,000 gallons below ground diesel tank 5. 20,000 gallons below ground unleaded tank |
