Description The work under this Contract consists of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to construct improvements along Main Street (Route 6A) from a point west of Rendezvous Lane to a point east of Millway, and along Millway between Main Street and Barnstable Harbor in the Town of Barnstable, MA. The work includes, but is not limited to, mill and overlay of existing pavement and areas of full depth reconstruction; reconstruction of cement concrete curb ramps and brick curb ramps; hot mix asphalt sidewalks, hot mix asphalt driveways, cement concrete sidewalks, and brick sidewalks all conforming to ADA requirements; removal and resetting of existing granite curbing and installing new curbing; drainage structure alterations including installation of new drainage pipes and drainage structures; culvert adjustments/headwall installation; installation of new ornamental street lighting within village center; install new streetscape and landscape features; rebuild existing or build new stone masonry retaining walls; traffic signal equipment upgrades; installation of new traffic signs and pavement markings; and all other related activities whatsoever required to complete the roadway improvements as specified herein and as directed by the Town.
