| Description | The purpose of the invitation for bid is to solicit pricing for replacement of the gym floor and for cleaning, stripping, and waxing the VCT flooring throughout the building. Remove and dispose of existing gym floor. Prep existing floor to accept new hardwood maple (No.2 or better) floor including waterproofing and/or vapor barrier as per specifications. Installation of a floating double plywood underlayment flooring system as specified. Installation to include sanding, finishing, and painting as required by the specifications. Dimensions: Field verify the boundaries and depth of the proposed project area (approx. 90’ x 120’). New floor to cover the entire existing gym area. Bleachers to be removed by contractor. Clean, strip, and wax all VCT flooring throughout. |
