| Description | The Jefferson County Department of Parks and Recreation is seeking competitive proposals for a Design and Build playground area to be all-inclusive. The scope of this project is detailed within this document and Vendors should base their submitted proposal upon this entire document. The completed project shall have a total all in cost in the range of $220,000 - $240,000. -Play area designed for age group three (3) years of age to twelve (12) years of age. -The play area shall have features accessible to individuals with disabilities as defined in Architectural Barriers Act of 1968, PL 90-480, and The Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards (UFAS). -The play area shall have features that are ADA compatible at ground level that will allow individuals with disabilities the opportunity to participate in play activities. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. |
