Description

Work is contracted for a previously treated area. Work under this Contract is located in Carbon County, Utah approximately six miles Northeast of Price, UT near West 39º 39.15 North 110º 43.88 (see project area and vicinity maps).Services in this contract provide for wildfire hazard reduction and wildlife habitat restoration by treating multiple units within the West Coal Creek project area. Units will receive a cut and drag treatment in a sagebrush dominated community with an overall low tree density. See table below for a summary of treatment units and acres. This contract will target Juniper (99%), Tamarisk (.05%), and Russian Olive (.05%).This includes the contractor to furnish labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies and incidentals to treat 11 units on approximately 4302 total acres within the project area. Contractor will notify project manager at least 7 working days prior to arrival so project manager can arrange gate key and scheduling with other parties.
