| Description | Design, furnish, deliver, construct and install an outdoor covered full circuit exercise area at Sand Canyon Park, located at 13900 Sand Canyon Drive, Houston, Texas 77083 for Precinct 3. The exercise pavilion shall be of a quality for use by the general public. The exercise pavilion should include but not limited to the following: 1. Covered concrete slab minimum, size 50' X 40', 6' concrete aprons outside of the covered area on three (3) sides, an 8' concrete apron outside the covered area on the forth side with a 10'long 10'wide sidewalk to match 10' wide asphalt trail provided by Precinct 3, centered in the 8' apron. The minimum overall concrete slab measures 62'X 54' with a 10' sidewalk approach. 2. Two (2) 6' benches with backs, surface mount on each of the three (3) 6' aprons. Six (6) - benches total.3. Two (2) 8' bicycle racks, surface mount on the 8' apron on each side of the sidewalk connection. 4. Shade canopy covering exercise equipment area only. Provide footings below slab finished grade. Four- corner metal canopy frame with fabric cover. Box frame canopy footings connecting to vertical post at corners at finished grade for a smooth finished surface No exposed mounting nuts or bolts. Canopy edge clearance 8' on all sides. Exercise Equipment 1. Surface mount, 80% minimum mechanical, utilizing user weight and/or friction as resistance. Minimize hydraulic cylinders and tension belts. 2. 20% maximum stationary equipment such as bars and benches. 3. Equipment to support upper, lower and core exercises. 4. Equipment pavilion and required percentage of equipment ADA compliant. 5. Maximize quantity of different exercise options. 6. Multiple use stations acceptable. 7. Provide use instructions signage or plaques per exercise station. 8. Vendor to provide final grading of all areas disturbed during construction. Grass sod 4' perimeter around concrete slab. 9. Color selection of equipment and shade canopy by Precinct once a vendor has been selected | ||||
