Description

Base Bid: $700,000 Alternate 1: $160,000 Alternate 2: $135,000 Repair of existing asphalt pavement (Dickerson Rd.) consists of pavement planing, ODOT 253 base repairs (CY, depth as directed but a minimum of 3”), misc. curb and drive apron replacement, curb ramp removal and replacement, casting adjustments, single chip seal, asphalt concrete intermediate course, tack (trackless), void reducing asphalt membrane (VRAM), and asphalt concrete surface course. 2. Repair of existing portland cement concrete pavement (Gilchrist Dr., E. 310th St., Arlington Circle, and E. 285th St.) consists of gutter grinding (see typical section), ODOT 253 base repairs, ODOT 251 partial depth pavement joint repair, curb ramp removal and replacement, casting adjustments, single chip seal, asphalt concrete intermediate course, tack (trackless), void reducing asphalt membrane (VRAM), asphalt concrete surface course, and traffic paint. 3. Portland cement concrete removal and replacement (Carrington Ct.) consists of ODOT item 255, full depth pavement removal and rigid replacement, see plans for specific repair locations. 4. Various saw cutting of pavement (E. 288th St.) will be performed by the Contractor at the direction of the Owner. Estimated quantity is in the bid tab and exact locations will be marked during a pre-construction walkthrough between the Owner, Engineer, and Contractor. Alternate 1 – Repair of existing asphalt pavement (Fern Dr.) as described in the base bid description above. D. Alternate 2 – Repair of existing asphalt pavement (Mildred Ave,) as described in the base bid description above.
