Description | Bid Bond 0.00% Payment Bond 0.00% Performance Bond 0.00% A. The Respondent's key staff must be registered in the State of California as a professional Landscape Architect. B. Tasks may include but are not limited to the following: 1. Provide professional landscape design services in urban design, sustainable outdoor spaces; pedestrian and bicycle circulation design, irrigation design, arborist or horticulturist consultation, and related support services on an as needed basis; 2. Specify suitable materials and assess project sites to identify limiting factors such as soil, buildings, and topography. 3. Evaluate existing landscape, hardscape and irrigation systems; recommend maintenance, repairs or upgrades; and plan improvements. 4. Prepare proposals and deliver presentations 5. Prepare CAD drawings and technical specifications and other bid documents including special provisions and bid forms; 6. Process project plans through local and state jurisdictions to obtain all necessary permits; 7. Prepare construction cost estimates; 8. Provide support during the project bid and construction phases such as providing clarifications, responding to questions or changed conditions, and preparing addenda and change orders; 9. Attend meetings appropriate to projects as may be directed by the District. Prepare exhibits and other presentation material as needed to communicate technical project issues; 10. Provide record maps and prepare as-built drawings as may be required, and process them as necessary to obtain approvals; 11. Provide general drafting services as required; 12. Review landscape plans submitted by others; and 13. Attend site visits and meetings. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. |
