C-478 Resurfacing form SR 471 to Center Hill

Board of Sumter County Commissioners wishes to solicit sealed bids from qualified contractors for construction of C-478 Resurfacing from SR 471 to Center Hill. This project consists of the resurfacing and partial reconstruction of CR 478 from SR 471 (MP 5.28) to the southern limits of the City of Center Hill (MP 10.59). The total length of work is approximately 4.3 miles, and the length of the project is approximately 5.1 miles. Roadway improvements will include milling and resurfacing, full depth roadway reconstruction in areas of base failure, constructing driveway turnouts, signing and pavement markings, and raised pavement markers (RPM). CONTRACT TIME: Will be 130 calendar days to substantial completion with an additional 20 calendar days for final project completion for a total of 150 calendar days. Substantial completion is defined as all items, not dependent on a curing period, have been completed. Final completion is defined as all pay items being completed.
