Runway Rubber and Paint Removel and Repainting Services at Long Island Macarthur Airport

The Contract is to provide for the Runway Rubber & Paint Removal and Re-Painting Services at Long Island MacArthur Airport, herein after ISP, as set forth in the specifications section ofthe Contract Documents. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or acceptable bid bond in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount and made payable to the Town ofIslip. No bid will be accepted by e-mail or facsimile. Late bids will not be accepted. No responsibility shall attach to any person or persons for premature opening of bids not properly labeled or sealed. The Town Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or part, to waive any informality in any or all bids and to accept the bid or part thereof which it deems most favorable to the Town. No bid shall be withdrawn, nor price increased, for a period of forty-five (45) days after being publicly opened and read. In the event bids are rejected or no bids are received, the Department of Purchasing is authorized to re-advertise for bids. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period offorty-five (45) days after being publicly opened and read. In the event bids are rejected or at least two are not received the Department of Purchase is authorized to re-advertise for bids. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and the minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract.
