Description | The City of Moss Point, owners of building located at 4107 Kreole Ave, Moss Point, MS, seeks qualified vendors to provide bids for the following services: Repair/replace and paint wood trim around the building and windows, repair/replace roof with like shingles, repair/replace sheetrock on the inside of the building. Repair any outside brick work. Replace signage and doors. Paint both inside and outside. This work is partially funded through Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)-CV (COVID Funds), and Police Drug Foretiure Funds, and is subject to all federal and state requirements. Davis - Bacon wage rates WILL apply for this project. The City of Moss Point reserves the right to accept or reject any bids. Removal of existing shingles, decking, and damaged rafters, replacing damaged rafters, decking (were needed) and installing new rafters, decking, drip edge, boots, flashing and shingles per stated specifications. Pressure wash the entire exterior of the building to remove all dirt, mold, and/or mildew. Remove damaged exterior wall sheathing boards, damaged fascia, and soffit boards, and replace in kind. Remove damaged exterior siding boards and trim and replace in kind. Remove and replace up to five (5) damaged windows and damaged window framing. Windows shall be replaced in kind. Remove damaged wall framing and replace in kind. o Removal and disposal of existing roof coverings o Removal of decking and framing were required due to storm damage. Ensure the undamaged areas are acceptable for application of new roofing (a unit price for replacement of framing and decking outside the damaged area shall be included in the quote). o Repair or replace sheetrock around door frame, reset door frame, repair brick in damaged areas and sheetrock in damaged areas around exterior doors and windows. o Install new drip edge, boots, turbine vents (color TBD), and roofing per specifications (30-year architectural shingles), colors to be determined by owner. o Removal and disposal of damaged exterior wall sheathing, siding, and trim o Replace damaged exterior wall sheathing, siding, and trim o Removal and disposal of damaged fascia and soffit boards o Replace damaged fascia and soffit boards o Remove and replace damaged exterior wall framing o Paint entire exterior. Color to be determined by city. o Clean site daily. o Obtain all necessary permits. o Contractor will be allowed to make a site visit to the building prior to submitting a bid for this work. The site visit will allow the Contractor to become familiar with the work and satisfy himself as to the general, local and site conditions that may affect cost, progress, performance or finishing of the Work. o Any questions or comments on the scope shall be addressed to the City. o Work hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Saturdays are only permissible with written permission from the owner. |
