Description

Retrofit its Jr./Sr. High School Auditorium and stage to serve as the classroom for our instrumental program. We also seek to maintain he integrity and initial purpose of the auditorium as a performing arts space for our school and community intact. The instrumental program needs the space afforded by the auditorium's stage to provide social distancing for student instrumentalists during class and rehearsals. the vocal music program will use the stage/classroom for its largest choirs. The current lighting is not conductive to classroom use. We seek to mechanically alter the lighting instruments removing incandescent and theater lighting and converting to LED lighting. An LED based system will provide an energy efficiency of approximately 80% of the current energy use by removing current lighting that are rated at 574-750 watts per instrument to 113 watts per lighting fixture.
