Noble Pines Basketball Court Resurfacing

Base Bid: 1. Resurface Noble Pines basketball court with 1.5-inch lift of 3/8” HMA (hot mix asphalt). All structural cracks will be cleaned and filled with a concrete fortified acrylic binder (E330 Acrylic Binder or equal). All hairline cracks will be cleaned and filled with a rubberized liquid crack filler (Elite Crack or equal).Court will have hand painted regulation lines with 3-point arcs in the color of white textured to match existing. Perimeter of court will receive 2ft wide shoulder of crushed aggregate (304.33) to blend transition of edge of court to existing grade. 2. All work will be done using industry standards and the most up to date materials available. Alternative Bid: 1. Remove two existing basketball posts. Install new posts, posts will be set in concrete to the manufacturer’s specifications and all disturbed areas will be patched using matching materials to make a smooth court surface. Replace two backboards with solid exterior backboard, rims and nets. BSN Sports - Bison Ultimate Fixed Height System -42”x60” or approved equal. The City of Somersworth reserves the right to award all, none, or portions thereof of the base bid and any potential bid alternatives.
