Installation of Shelters, Accessories and Solar Lighting

The work shall consist generally of installing bus shelters and other passenger amenities at bus stops within the VIA service area. The Contractor shall perform tasks associated with the installation at one or multiple stop location(s) provided in each work order. Work orders may consist of the installation of shelter(s), accessories, or a mix of various passenger amenities (shelters, lighting, signage, benches and/or screen walls). The bid prices should take into account any safety equipment, hand tools, and the other materials where required. Contractor will base the bidding on the attached set of typical shelter installation site plans and the installation guide, solar lighting installation guide, and attachments showing installation of other passenger amenities.

Division 33 -	Utilities, Storm Drainage Utilities.
