Description

Furnishing all materials, labor, and equipment necessary for the construction of a two-stop hydraulic elevator system, a masonry elevator shaft including all electrical and mechanical work. This work includes minor demolition work, new construction, the elevator system and other items as outlined in the Plans and Specifications. This construction/renovation work is to be performed on an existing two story building in downtown Logan. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President's Executive Order No. 11246. The requirements for bidders and contractors under this order are explained in the Specifications. Bidders must comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Anti-Kickback Act and the Contract Work Hours Standards Act. Any Contractor submitting a Bid on this project hereby certifies, indicates, and acknowledges that he has a license and meets all the qualifications required by the statutes of the State and subdivision in which the work is to be performed. The Contractor shall comply with the West Virginia Contractor Licensing Act and shall require all subcontractors to comply with that Act. A Contractor's License Number is to be included on the bid submission. A five percent (5%) Bid Bond or certified cashier's check must accompany all Bids. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Payment Bond and Performance Bond, each for 100% of the contract amount. The City of Logan reserves the right to waive any informality in the Bid and to reject any or all Bids
