2020 Paving Bid

This work involves the overlaying of bituminous pavement over the existing pavement to achieve strength and proper cross section and where necessary and directed by engineer. Some locations may require a scratch course pulled through then finish course pulled through with mainline. The Wexford County Road Commission will perform preparatory work, and aggregate shoulder work if necessary after bituminous paving is complete. The contractor will be responsible for all items of work listed in the Bid Proposal. In locations with lots of driveways contractor is responsible to have sufficient staff and equipment finish the widening to the driveways with accounting for the speed of cooling, workability of material, making sure to not affect ride quality of the mainline.
