Hospital Privacy Curtain Maintenance and Repair

Contractor shall provide all personnel, supplies, tools, materials and equipment necessary to provide Hospital Privacy Cubicle Curtain Laundering Services, repair of curtains, cleaning and repair/replacement of broken tracks and changeout carriers as necessary. All curtain cleaning is at a Contractor's off-site laundry facility. Contractor shall visit the Northport VA Medical Center monthly to maintain all cubicle curtains and curtain tracks throughout the entire facility. Contractor will inspect curtains and tracks on each visit and take down, wash, repair and re-hang an average of two areas per month; one (1) Clinical area and one (1) Community Living Center (CLC) . Each CLC and Clinical area shall have the curtains changed out at a minimum of four (4) times per year and the CBOCs and Medical Units shall be changed a minimum of two (2) times per year. A Contractor maintained logbook shall be in the EMS Office, Building 10, 2nd floor. Contractor shall record; date, areas serviced, number of curtains removed offsite, person removing with contact information and date and number of curtains returned. Curtains shall be cleaned and returned within 14 calendar days of removal from facility. The Northport VA Medical Center shall maintain an inventory of clean curtains, track and carriers for each area being serviced.
