Provide residential rehabilitation per the work description and standard specifications for all required bid items listed in the Work Description and Proposal Form of this RFQ. License Requirements California Contractor License, City of Palmdale Business License Contractor shall professionally clean the dwelling throughout upon completion of work. Cleaning shall include the cleaning of all walls, ceilings, floors, windows, kitchen, bathrooms, appliances, garage, and exterior areas. All work is to be done per City of Palmdale Building and Safety, Planning and Public Works codes. In order to establish standards of quality, the detailed specifications may refer to a certain product by name and/or from a major manufacturer. The procedure is not to be construed as eliminating from competition other product(s) of equal or better quality by other manufacturers. The contractor shall furnish a list of proposed desired substitutions at time of bidding. All items listed in the Work Description and Bid Proposal Form, unless otherwise specified , shall include all finish work, including all trim hardware, patching, and finish painting and/or staining to the immediate are of work. All overhead and profit should be included in each line item. Contractor shall be aware that some items may be removed due to funding. All materials to be installed require owner(s) review and approval prior to purchase. Use of lead based paint is prohibited. The selected contractor is responsible for obtaining all require approvals, permits, and inspections the costs of which are to be included in each respective line item. All work requires City's inspection and acceptance of the work performed, supporting documentation including before and after pictures of all work and copies of certified payroll sheets. Labor is at State Prevailing Wage rates for the labor category. Other Details Funding of the contract is by Housing Asset Funds (HAF).
