PRC Security Upgrades

This project includes replacing the access control system, access control gates, and perimeter fencing improvements at Prescott Regional Airport (PRC). The access control system for the perimeter fencing access gates consists of keypads and motorized gates, and has reached the end of its useful life, requiring its complete replacement. Enhanced improvements, including new remote access card readers with keypads, and CCTV cameras with a supplementary biometric facial recognition system, will be installed which will allow the City of Prescott to efficiently and accurately monitor, regulate, and enforce FAA and TSA security requirements at the Airport. In addition, there are several sections of perimeter security fence line that are not consistent with the current airport property boundary or leased property lines which will be replaced. There are some sections of existing fence that do not meet FAA requirements for security fencing or do not adequately keep wildlife from entering the airport property.
