Grubbing & Clearing, Sewer Force Main, Bituminous Patching/Coating/Surfacing, Directional Drilling, Landscaping (Planting Projects), Sitework/Excavating and Grading, Traffic Control, Excavation, Erosion Control - Temporary The project consists of the construction of directionally drilled force main river crossing under the Mississippi River which includes the following major items: o 0.76 AC Clearing and Grubbing o 825 CY Excavation- Common o 825 CY Common Topsoil Borrow o 1 LS Air Release Manhole o 1 LS Traffic Control o 150 LF 20" Ductile Iron Pipe and Fittings- East Side o 1 LS 30 RC Pipe and Manholes- West Side o 1 LS Bypass Piping, Wet Taps, Line Stops- East Side o 870 LF 24 inch HDPE Forcemain (Horizontal Directional Drill) o 420 LF Sediment Control Log Type Wood Fiber o 1500 LF Silt Fence, Type MS o 0.91 AC Seeding o 4400 SY Rolled Erosion Prevention Category 30 o 1 LS Landscaping- West Side Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. 7.02 Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all registered plan holders. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
