Description | 2022 West Pikeland Township Paving Program #1 for various roads in the Township. A Certified Check or Bid Bond drawn to the order of the West Pikeland Township in the amount equal to Ten percent (10%) of the amount of the Bid must be submitted with the proposal as Bid security. The project involves, but is not limited to: road milling and delivery / placement of Superpave Warm Mix Asphalt Wearing Course, 9.5 mm mix, 2-inch compacted depth for various roads in the township, including base repair. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a one hundred percent (100%) Performance Bond and a one hundred percent (100%) Payment Bond with an eighteen (18) month warranty within ten (10) days of the bid award, executed by a surety authorized to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The work in connection with this project constitutes a Public Works by a Public Body under Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Bidders are advised that prevailing minimum wage rates, promulgated by the Pennsylvania Secretary of Labor, which must be paid to workmen employed on this project, are incorporated in the Contract Documents. Bidders are advised that they must comply with all State anti-kickback regulations pertaining to work associated with this project. West Pikeland Township hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all Bidders, to refuse any or all Bids submitted; and also reserves the right to waive any informality in Bids received, but any contract awarded will be to the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder. Except as otherwise provided by law, no Bidder may withdraw his Bid within sixty (60) consecutive calendar days after the actual date of opening thereof. Base Repair estimate = 890 square yards. Tullamore Circle - From Street Road to the Cul-De-Sac -full road width. Approximate length = 1,497'. Approximate road width = 22'. Approximate total area = 3,592 square yards. Base Repair estimate = 1,293 square yards. Horseshoe Trail - From Highview Road to Messner Road - full road width. Approximate length = 1,764'. Approximate road width = 18'. Approximate total area = 3,528 square yards. Base Repair estimate = 726 square yards. Horseshoe Trail - From Messner Road to Dewees Lane - full road width. Approximate length = 2,643'. Approximate road width = 18'. Approximate total area = 5,345 square yards. Base Repair estimate = 479 square yards Eagle Farms Road - From Byers Road to the West Pikeland / West Vincent Township Line - full road width. Approximate length = 3,244'.
