Description | The general items of work to be done hereunder consist of the installation of storm drain system, sanitary sewer system, the modification of an existing detention basin, construction of a concrete basin division structure, and permanent resurfacing of the existing asphalt concrete pavement and signing & striping removed for the work. Bid Valid 90 Days Liquidated Damages $3,000 Per Calendar Day Estimated Bid Value $5,090,000 Start/Delivery Date March 2023 Project Duration 80 Working Days The project location will encompass the existing basin, located at 11196 Sierra Ave., Fontana, CA 92337, and both Sierra Ave. and Juniper Ave. from Jurupa Ave. north to the existing basin. Proposals must be accompanied by a proposal guarantee in the form of cash, cashier's check, a certified check or bid bond available to the City in the amount of at least ten percent (10%) of the total amount bid. Any proposal not accompanied by such a guarantee will not be considered. A payment bond and a performance bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the total contract amount, shall be required concurrently with the execution of the contract and shall be in the form set forth in the contract documents. This contract will be funded in whole or in part with federal housing development funds. The Federal Labor Standards Provisions, including prevailing wage requirements of the Davis-Bacon and Related Acts will be enforced. A copy of the Federal Wage Decision applicable to this project is included in the Bid Document. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularity, to accept any bid or portion thereof, and to take all bids under advisement for a period of ninety (90) calendar days. |
