CR 42 Relocation

The construction will consist of realigning an existing 2-lane rural open ditch roadway and adding cul-de-sacs to the existing roadway. The constructed roadway will provide 2-10’ lanes (2-way roadway) with roadside ditches and will constructed by using 3” of HMAC, 8” of flex base and 8” of lime-treated subgrade. Additional right-of-way was acquired throughout this project. Drainage improvements include the construction of 3 detention pond systems along the proposed roadway, regrading existing ditches, grading proposed ditches. This project will also include signing and pavement markings, demolition and regrading of the existing pavement (as shown in plans), implementation of traffic control plans, and implementation of storm water pollution prevention measures during construction.
