Evansville Street Maintenance Dept. Replacement Facility Bid Group 3 Sealed proposals for the SMD Street Maintenance Department Relocation Facility will be received by the City of Evansville Building Corporation, Evansville, Indiana at 1 NW Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard, Room 307, Evansville, Indiana 47708 until 11:00 a.m., local time, on Tuesday, October 25, 2022. (*Place Bid in drop box located outside of Room 100. If drop box is locked, approximately 40 minutes prior to the scheduled meeting, the bid will only be accepted by an EWSU staff member in the scheduled meeting room prior to the scheduled meeting time.) Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Any bids received later than the above time and date will be returned unopened. No conditional bids will be considered The work for which bids are to be received consists of: Garmong Construction Services is soliciting multi prime bids in capacity as a Construction Manager at Risk. Bids are being solicited for the new Evansville Street Maintenance Department Relocation Facility Bid Group #2. Bid Group #2 will include the sitework, street improvements for Stanley Avenue and Kerth, site utilities, painting and drywall finishing, plumbing and mechanical for the pre-engineered metal building (awarded in Bid Group #1). Bids to be complete for each bid package(s) for work shown in the Drawings and Specifications, and as defined in each bid package description. The above referenced project description includes items that are part of the Itemized Base Bid. The Contractor shall be responsible for all work shown on the plans and described in the specifications pertaining to the Itemized Base Bid, regardless of the installation method chosen. Garmong Construction Services has contracted with City of Evansville Building Corporation as Construction Manager as Constructor under Indiana code IC5-32. The Evansville Street Maintenance Department is building a new 74,400 square foot facility to be located on 1200 Stanley Avenue. The new facility will be approximately 160' x 465' pre-engineered metal building that will include offices, maintenance, operational space to support the Evansville Street Maintenance Department, Traffic Engineering Department, and City Maintenance Department. There will be an additional covered area for the relocated emulsion tank system, salt storage barn and the salt brine processing area. Site improvements will include modifications to the existing levee system, stormwater drainage and utility connections. B. This current bid letting is for Bid Group #3. This bid group comprises of will include the sitework, interior build out of the pre-engineered metal building (awarded in Bid Group #1) including general trades, masonry, structural steel, openings, finishes, fire protection, mechanical, electrical, communications and safety and security. Bid package #2 will also include additional post frame storage building in its entirety. C.
