Scope of Services: This work consists of, but is not limited to, construction of approximately 0.95 miles of Portland cement concrete roadway which includes a single lane roundabout. The pavement shall consist of an 8" Portland cement concrete pavement and 11" thick mountable concrete aprons (approaches and interior of roundabout) on a soil cement base and lime treated subbase. Additionally, the project includes construction of 0.02 miles of asphaltic concrete roadway transitions, subsurface drainage facilities, concrete walks, street lighting, utility relocation and extension (water) and a cast-in-place concrete box culvert with headwalls and wingwalls. Additive Alternate No. 1 consists of adding a 12' eastbound and westbound lane with tapers and median turnarounds from approximate stations 266+20 to 283+02 utilizing the typical section for the Base Bid project.
