Courthouse Road Trail (Salem Church Road to Courts Complex Road)

Construction of approximately 4,900 LF 10-ft wide asphalt trail in two sections. The first section is from the parking lot on Jury Drive to the east side of Courts Complex Road, a distance of approximately 450 LF. The second section is from the intersection of Courthouse Road with Krause Road to Salem Church Road, approximately 4,450 LF. The project includes the installation of three (3) culverts. Additionally, a gravel diaphragm (per VA DEQ SWM Design Specification No. 2) is proposed to be installed along the trail from Station 39+75 to Station 46+38. The work will include clearing, grading, asphalt paving, culverts, erosion & sediment control, signage, pavement markings and other items necessary for the completion of the work.
