McKeever Environmental Center Demolition Project

This procurement has SDB or VBE goals set. ESTIMATED RANGE: .1 General - $600,000 - $700,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES = (.1) $220.00 per day There is no Bid Guaranty required for this Project. The Department of General Services Public Works and the Bureau of Diversity, Inclusion and Small Business Opportunities (BDISBO) identified this procurement as eligible for the setting of Small Diverse Business (SDB) and/or Veteran Business Enterprise (VBE) participation goals. In addition, there will be no points allocated toward SDB/SB participation for this procurement. This is a significant programmatic change from the SDB and SB Participation program contained in prior Projects issued by Public Works. Proposers now must agree to meet the SDB and VBE Participation Goals in full or demonstrate that they have made Good Faith Efforts to meet the Goals. Refer to the Request for Proposals section regarding Small Diverse Business and Veteran Business Enterprise Participation for further information. The Goals for each Prime Contract is as follows: .1 Design Build Contractor - ALL Base Bids #1, & #2 - SDB Goal = 8% - VBE Goal = 3% D.G.S. 0404-0044 PHASE 001 The Construction Contract duration shall be 365 calendar days commencing on the date of the Initial Job Conference.
