Description

NYS Vendor Responsibility Form CCA-2 A/B/C, NYSDOL wage rates, MBE/WBE, Apprenticeship program, and Local and Disadvantaged Workforce requirements may apply to this project. Contractor shall remove existing doors, and storefront systems in the areas indicated on the contract drawing. Caulk on the masonry opening and frame has been found to contain PCB above the EPA specified limit of 50 parts per million. All caulk shall be manually scraped utilizing wet methods. An inspection will be conducted at the completion of PCB caulk removal activities to verify complete removal and cleanup of caulking material. B. All interior caulk removals must be performed inside of a HEPA-filtered, negative pressure enclosure. C. For exterior caulk removals, the exterior building façade shall be protected to prevent PCB dust from entering the building. This shall be accomplished by covering the exterior of the openings (i.e. windows, doors, louvers, etc.) with two (2) layers of six (6) mil fire retardant polyethylene plastic sheeting to cover the entire building façade underneath the area where PCB caulk removal activities are occurring.
