Description

As of September 23rd, 2022, project has been awarded to Murphy Brothers, with an awarded amount of $6,348,911.56. Work will begin next month. AIP NO.: 3-53-0072-070-2023 The Pre-Bid Conference will be hosted onsite as well as virtually. Major subcontractors are encouraged to attend either onsite or virtually; however, attendance (in person or virtual) is mandatory for the Prime Contractors only. It shall be the duty of each Bidder to submit his/her bid on or before the hour and date specified.Any bids received after the time for opening cannot, and will not be considered. Bid Proposals submitted by a contractor, which did not attend this Pre-Bid Conference, will be rejected. The general nature of the Work is as follows: Site grading including rock and unsuitable material removal, culvert installation, temporary detention pond construction, utility relocation including gas, waterline, and electrical, constructing approximately 2375 tons of Hot Mix Asphalt pavement for vehicle service roads, demolition of existing structures, installation of temporary fencing, drainage, electrical, and other improvements associated to the project. The Planholders List is also available at this electronically. All addenda will be issued through email. Bidders must order online to be placed on the Planholders List and to receive automatic e-mail notification of addenda. Abadan Reprographics & Imaging, 603 East Second Avenue, Spokane, WA 99202 (Phone: 509-747-2964) should be contacted with electronically and plan ordering questions. Questions during the bid period and inquiries regarding bid results (after bid opening) should be directed to the Planning and Engineering Department of Spokane Airports, Monday through Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. by contacting Lisa Corcoran at (509) 455-6406. A contract according to the General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions, and Addendums (if applicable) shall be signed prior to work commencing. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashie's check or surety bid bond, in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid for all bid schedules (including sales tax). A performance bond, payment bond, and liability insurance in accordance with the contract documents will be required for the Contract. This is a prevailing wage project per applicable State Law. The Spokane Airport Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality, to accept any alternate bids, and to make such award that it deems to be in the best interest of the Airport pursuant to the terms of the Instruction to Bidders and General Conditions. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. All bidders are cautioned to be aware of the requirement to have their bids considered responsive.
