a. Perform abatement of selective hazardous materials and selective demolition on the 2nd and 3rd floors only of the ARSR. b. Hazmat abatement shall include removal and disposal of selective asbestos containing material (ACM) identified by recent hazmat surveys conducted by the FAA. c. Selective demolition shall include but not limited to removing combustible interior wood components and wood studded partitions. Gypsum wallboard attached to the building exterior walls via wood furring strips shall remain as is. d. Electrical conduits, receptacles, switches and wiring circuits supported by walls to be removed shall be removed and terminated at the nearest J-box or circuit panel as applicable by a licensed electrician. Existing wiring and devices hanging in the work area shall be made safe by properly covering exposed electrical wires/J-boxes, and suspending out of reach so as not to conflict with demolition activities. e. The project does not include finishes to any of the existing walls to remain.
