Hinesville Main Pumping Station Bar Screen Replacement

Replacement rake screen to replace the existing bar screen. The screen will be used to screen large chunks of wood, concrete and debris that may damage the downstream pumps. The work to be performed consists of furnishing all labor and materials to complete the Hinesville Pump Station Bar Screen Upgrade. More specifically, the project will consist of constructing a concrete basin approximately 30’ long, 8’ wide and 20.5’ deep with removable aluminum grates, connecting the concrete basin to an existing influent channel and manhole with approximately 30 LF of 30” diameter PVC pipe, installing a slide gate into the concrete channel, installing a 30” gate valve to the existing 30” DIP influent pipe, installing a Huber TrashMax bar screen (to be acquired separately by the City of Hinesville), removing and replacing approximately 55 SY of concrete pavement, and removing and replacing approximately 75 LF of chain-link fencing.
