Description

The improvements along Hartford Turnpike (Route 20) include pavement mill and overlay with full depth box widening, new granite curb and cement concrete sidewalk and shared use path construction, upgrades to the closed drainage and sewer systems, and the reconstruction of the traffic signal at the intersection of Lake Street and Route 20. Other work will include utility adjustments, improved roadway signage, guardrail, dumped riprap slope, and pavement delineation/striping for vehicles traveling through the Route 20 corridor. The total roadway length included in the Contract is approximately 3,300 linear feet (0.63 miles).
