Description

The project consists of the complete replacement of the existing bridge. The work includes the removing and disposing of the existing steel multi-girder bridge with timber deck and asphalt wearing surface, and removal of the existing concrete substructures. New construction will consist of the installation of adjacent prestressed concrete box beam units with a cast-in-place concrete bridge deck, a new bridge foundation consisting of cast-in-place concrete integral abutments founded on piles, and the associated approach highway reconstruction work.
