Renovate Radiology for Equipment Installation. The project work includes general construction, alterations, plumbing, mechanical and electrical work, utility systems, and certain other items as described in the specifications and drawings. located on the First Floor of the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center located in Gainesville, FL. The VA is seeking a qualified Contractor to furnish all tools, equipment, material, permits, labor, and supervision necessary to accomplish, the work as provided in the contract documents, plans, and specifications, a summary of which is provided below: To furnish and install specified demolition, modifications, and new architectural, structural, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and medical gas systems and related components at the first floor and second floor of Building 1 as well as related work at the level below and above, and elsewhere as required for full completion of the work and full operation of systems and components of the work, This project will include bid alternates that reduce the number of 2nd floor deck penetrations for return air ducts at rooms Angio #1 and Angio #2 from the scope of work to ensure a contract award within budget given the extreme fluctuations in supply costs due to the pandemic. This requirement will be fulfilled by awarding a contract for construction with Construction Period Services being provided by the AE design firm of record. |
