Notice is hereby given to all bidders that Executive Order 11246 and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A, Part 21, are applicable to this contract. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, or by a certified check payable to the Pee Dee Regional Airport District, Florence, South Carolina, and drawn on some bank or trust company authorized to do business in the State of South Carolina, for an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total base bid. A performance bond and a labor and material payment bond are required. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after the closing time for the receipt of bids. The Pee Dee Regional Airport District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any and all technical defects in the execution of the submission of any bid.
