Roof Replacement at the Putnam County Government Complex

A. This project consists of the following: 1. This project will entail tearing off and disposing of the old Modified roof and any secondary roof to either the concrete deck or gypsum deck. Re-Installing a new Modified Bitumen Roofing System that will have a minimum 15 year warranty of materials and a five year warranty on workmanship. See Figure 1 below for areas of the roof. 2. Contractor shall remove and dispose of the old HVAC Units as shown in figure 2 below. The curb boxes shall remain, but new weathertight caps shall be installed to meet roofing manufactures requirements. These curb boxes shall remain for future use. 3. Contractor will be responsible to meet all Florida Building Codes. 4. Contractor shall be responsible for all Permits from the County/City to accomplish this work. 5. All roof penetrations shall be protected 6. New Gutters shall be installed on the back side of the building to include all downspouts. 7. Metal coping throughout the roof replacement area will be replaced to ensure weather tightness and to meet all warranty specifications.
