Tree Removal Services. For this solicitation, bids will ONLY be received and accepted via the online electronic bid service. To access the electronic bid worksheet, download the bid documents and click the online bidding button at the top of the advertisement. Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled submission deadline. The contract shall expire one (1) year from the effective date with the option to renew up to three (3) additional one-year terms upon mutual agreement by both parties. Updated pricing at each renewal will be based on the annual percent change for Natural resources, construction, and maintenance for Compensation: Employment Cost Index for total compensation, for private industry workers, by occupational group and industry, published by the United States Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics at the end of the month. The most recently published index will be used. Example: If the contract expires April 1, the most recently published index will be February. The updated pricing would reflect the percent change from the previous February. The link below takes you to the chart that will be used. SD1 reserves the right to accept any bid, to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities or informalities in bids received, including deviation from any bond requirements where such acceptance, rejection or waiver is considered to be in its best interest. SD1 also reserves the right to reject any bid where evidence or information submitted by the Bidder does not provide satisfactory proof that the Bidder is qualified to carry out the details of the contract, or that contain any omission, condition, or limitation, or that show any other irregularity of any kind may be rejected as not responsive.
