Description | Facilitate the rehabilitation of mechanical, structural, and electrical equipment at sixteen (16) in-system storage devices, thirteen (13) valve remote sites, and nine (9) combined sewage overflow (CSO) outfall sites. Work is required at thirty-eight (38) locations and must be completed in its entirety to provide functioning in-system storage devices, valve remote gates and regulator chambers. Furnish all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals required to complete the improvements to the existing structural, mechanical and control systems for thirty-eight (38) sites and as identified in the Contract Drawings. Conduct demolition and proper disposal of noted equipment, fixtures, and accessories. Conduct demolition and proper disposal of noted equipment, fixtures, and accessories.Furnish and install new mechanical equipment such as blowers, valves, ventilation fans, ductwork, electrical conduit, and controls. Furnish and install new heaters, dehumidifiers, sump pumps, piping, electrical conduit, and controls. Furnish and install new electric actuators, sluice gates, frames, stems and associated Furnish and install new wiring, conduits, ultrasonic level sensors, pressure level sensors, light fixtures, and SCADA control wiring. Conduct improvements to control cabinets, cabinet foundations, control cabinet equipment and accessories Restore area including any pavement, sidewalk, grading, seeding, and landscaping. In general and accordance with the Contract Documents, including the Specifications and Drawings, Contractor shall: Develop and implement flow control plans to reduce wastewater depths to acceptable levels in the sewers and regulators for safe cleaning and work on the dams, gates and sensors. Develop and implement traffic control plans necessary to safely perform repairs. Perform the replacement of mechanical equipment in the control vaults and buildings at the ISD sites. Perform the re-sloping of control vault floors for better drainage. Perform the replacement of inflation, deflation, vacuum pump and rapid deflate actuators at ISD sites. Perform the replacement of the pressure transmitter and pressure relief valve at ISD sites. Perform the replacement of level transmitters and transducers at all sites. Perform the inspection and repair of air leaks and abrasions at ISD sites. Perform the replacement of electric actuators at VR sites. Perform the replacement of select sluice gates at VR sites. Perform the power washing of existing chambers and sluice gates at VR sites. Perform the removal of settled debris throughout the sites, with portions of the Work to be completed in submerged conditions. Perform the installation and replacement of access hatch frame and covers and up-sizing of manholes to larger diameter openings. Perform the restoration of sidewalk, pavement, soil and general site restoration after construction is complete. Perform the repair of various additional items as identified in the Drawings and Specifications. Minimum qualifications: Three (3) projects within the last five (5) years showing demonstrable, detailed experience comparable to the Work specifically described in this solicitation. Term Contract: 26 Months Substantial Completion shall be 730 Days from the start date specified in the Notice to Proceed.
